  I was learning to make a cube by scratch 
  It was tricky to stick the tabs together because the glue          wasn't that sticky. I am proud I finished my cube and my cube got a little squished.  My next step is to do a triangle prism.

Learning to solve Fraction Problems

                    It was tricky to find out how much each piece costs and to do the Saturday problem. It was                           easy to find out what was halves and what is quarters and what is was eights. I am proud that                       I have learned how to use money and fractions together. Next I will try to make my own                               fraction problems and try not to make a mistake.

                      I was learning to work out fraction concepts I still need to learn.
                     It was tricky to think of what fration the plumber had but it was nineths.
                     I am proud I did all of them right. Next I will try to do something harder.

                             It was tricky to put the Maori words in the maths equitment because I don't know Maori                              that well. I am proud I had done everything right and I completed it.

  I was learning to survey the class and make graphs about my survey. It was difficult to think of the problem.I am proud I have learned about graphs and surveys. Next I will do a survey about something about a other type of food.

 We were learning to choose opinions and facts. It was hard to do figure out what was a fact and what was a opinion. I am proud I got most of my opinions right. Next I will try to get all of them right.  

Interpreting Pictograms

It was tricky to find out how much people there was because each shopper was two shoppers and half a shopper is just one shopper. It was fun trying to do the bar graph by putting how much people went in the car and so one. I am proud I have finished my work and learned about pictograms. The next step for me might be to work a bit more on doing bar graphs and tally charts. Mrs Hodge and Miss Heo can help me with my pictogram work.

It was Difficult to think of something to write about. I am proud I have have finished my work and it sounds great. Next I will try to think of something more better.

Dawn Parade

It was hard to think of what the story was about and what was interesting because everything is interesting. It was fun when we read the book and did the worksheet on the computer. I am proud I finished my work and learned about what a Dawn Parade is.

My 100 Word Writing Challenge

We are doing a 100 Word Challenge. It was tricky to use only 100 words on our first try but this year we are taking risks. It was fun making up a story about the picture above. I am proud I used adjectives in my story.
The next step for me is to write more adjectives In my story.  

Learning to do a Reader's Respone

My Reflection

This book is about a dog called Caesar. This dog was doing work in the World War 1. I have been doing a readers response about Caesar. It was tricky think of what to write. It was fun doing the readers response anyway. I am proud I finished my work and could write about about interesting things, describe what I liked most and say what the story reminded me of.   

Next time I write a response to a text I would like to write a bit more and think about how it might connect to things happening in the world.

It was tricky to write this bio poem. It was fun write the bio poem. I                        am proud I finished my work on time.
                                                 
       



 

Frog in the Well Maths Problem

We are learning to measurement in maths. I was tricky to see what day is the frog going to get out. I am proud I use the day by day method to get the frog out. Next I am going to try a different frog in the well problem and do the day by day method again. First my partner and I got the answer 16 days and then my partner and I got 28 day. We got the answer correctly.  

Learning to do a Did You Ever Poem

                         I am learning to write a did you ever poem

It was tricky to think of verbs and different words to describe my poem. It was fun trying to write down little fragments instead of whole sentences. I am proud that I thought of verbs and sense words.  I was also able to download a photo and I was proud of this too.
